Sundays
WHEN: Worship Gatherings are held at 8:00am and 10:45am – Sunday School at 9:30am (see below for details on each service).
WHERE: The Church is located at 1211 M Ave. Services are held in the upstairs auditorium.
PARKING: There are two parking lots available. The upper parking lot is off M Ave, and the lower parking lot is behind the church off N Ave.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
1. You will be greeted and handed a bulletin
2. The band will play some tunes, inviting you to worship God through music
3. The church will then be given an opportunity to worship God by celebrating communion.
4. One of our Catalyst ministry leaders will talk about what the Bible has to say about real life
5. There will be a closing song, and you will be dismissed.
6. You will be honored and respected
After the service, you are free to leave, though we warmly invite you to stick around the “Welcome Home” center. Enjoy getting to know some new people over a cup of coffee or tea.
WHAT TO WEAR: Come as you are, or feel free to dress up. You will find a lot of jeans, a lot of slacks, some dresses and some shorts. God is not concerned about your dress; he’s concerned about your heart.
First Service:
Our 8:00am gathering is a smaller, more intimate gathering that meets in the Fireside Room. While the preaching is the same for both services, the music is scaled-back, and may tend to be more traditional, often utilizing hymns and praise choruses, depending on the song leader.
Second Service:
Our 10:45am gathering is larger and takes place in the main auditorium. Music is usually led by a full worship band. Both worship gatherings are intended to provide environments where you can join a community of believers and worship / fellowship with them. We invite you to join either, recognizing that we are one body, sharing the same Lord and the same purpose together. Click HERE for more details on our Worship philosophy, ministry and style.
Anyone is welcome to attend on Sundays. Our gatherings generally follow a basic “service order,” but we always leave room for the impromptu and unexpected. We like to think of each gathering as a journey – a journey that anyone can connect with no matter where they’re at in life. Whether you come with love, joy, and laughter, or sorrow, grief, and pain, you are welcome here. It is our hope that you will experience the love of God through worship, through teaching, or through the people you encounter at ACC.
